That's no good, but it takes time. The thing with Hartnell is you have to pick good reference and interesting facial expressions, otherwise he doesn't look like himself. With the lines on his face there's a lot of scope to really do it right and go for it - work from close close closeups.

Just spotted this thread - great images, tOy! TG's animation of Clent is great as well.
As for Hartnell - it's so darn close! The eyes and nose are spot-on. The difficult area is around the mouth. The problem with Hartnell is that he's very thin-lipped, and he also curls his lips inwards, which means that you rarely see the actual skin of his lips, only the shape of the skin around. Soften the hard edges to the lips so they look like shading instead of lip skin and you'll be pretty much there.
As for age detail, it looks like the "ventriloquist's dummy" style creases either side of his mouth are the only main ones that are missing.
Really like the style. Something I just wouldn't know where to start with...
