Yes, there is actualy more to this audio out take.(Its available in video as well, you can find it on youtube) Its taken from the five doctors, where the dalek is chasing the first doctor down a corridoor. They have two cameras set up and the actors go one way down one section, and the dalek goes the wrong way towards a different camera thats setup for a different shot. So the Dalek loses the actors, and Roy chirps in 'Bugger I lost them' in a dalek voice. Grin

I thought I would use an edited version on my video for a bit of fun.

A lot more subtly crafted than some people may think.  The camera movements, the lighting and the "filtering" give it the convincing illusion it is an "on set" video recording from the 60s (assuming, of course, they were geared up for color recording).  It doesn't have the impossibly crisp clarity and "perfect" movement one normally sees in CGI.  You really have an "eye" for recreating the "look" for a given era of image recording technology.

Sincerely,

Bill

Thanks Bill. I always try to get away from it just being a CGI robotic movement.

As you say, it is the 60's style movement and also the look of 405 line that I am trying to capture. I want it to look as if there is an operator inside and also get that camera movement of those large cameras they used to use. I'm glad you noticed all this, Some people like it, others don't, but as its a recon, I want to match as near as I can visualy the right look so it would blend in with existing footage.
I sometimes set the dome off centre, or make it wobble, all those little mistakes that happend back then. Grin

Its a lot of work, but fun to do.

Very nicely done! I do love the look of the footage - will have to try that myself.
