Sorry to post this here, but I'm having terrible problems accessing this forum just recently. It takes around 5 attempts and then when the page does load, its a white background at first. If I click on the news page, it goes to a holding page. Something seems to be blocking access. I hope its not this new blocking thingy that some isp's have started instigating. I access through Sky broadband, is anyone else having the same problem.

This problem occured once before on another website. Just wanted to check if its Sky access related.

If Marc has any info on this, perhaps he could email it to me, as next time I may not get on the forum at all, as its taking many attempts to do so.  Undecided

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Igot back on the site but it takes 4 goes. First off my web browser states it cannot locate the 'who3d' server, then I try again, then again and I get a basic page, then I refresh and get the full page. This happens everytime I access who 3d. Just started this week! Huh

Oh, by the way, the 'News' button links to a holding page 'website coming soon', and the 'Gallery' button gives the 'oops' 404 page not found.

I wonder whats going on...

In an uncharacteristic display of good connectivity on my internet, this time I had

1st) trouble seeing the site
2nd) whitebackground, not many images loaded, poor formatting (i.e. not loaded properly)

But when I log in, its then fine........

Server problems perhaps?

I think one of the servers, a link in the chain has one of these new isp web filters, I've had this experience before on another site. There has been complaints before on the internet about it. Its supposed to filter out undesirable websites, but can also block access to legit sites.  Embarrassed

One possible cause anyway.

I still can't get in. I'm using Virgin Media. Although my mother is also on Virgin Media and it comes up fine.  I can get it on my phone no problem. Anybody got any ideas.

What browser are you using? Does your mother use the same browser version?

I spoke too soon!  Angry
Just taken me 10 minutes and around 50 attempts to get here! My browser hunts for the server to who3d for ages, then says cannot find it. Its now worse than before. Somethings wrong in the connections somewhere along the line. Is the who3d server having problems? Huh

Same thing happened with me earlier. I eventually got into to an old style text only site.

I just got the text only site myself. Not had any problems connecting. I'll look into it and see if the webhost can offer any info.
