Ha ha not deliberate in a B/W film - I can't see it on my laptop which may be the problem but I think I may have forgotten to take the colour out of the bit with the sphere entering the hull. I cut the trailer together in a bit of a rush on new year's eve.
Re the discussions with the beeb, apparently it went on for months and months, initially very positive, then a department reorganisation moved the final decision to different people. Unfortunately they didn't think there was a need for the reconstructions, a shame for LC.
